Ray Nulty & Company Limited - International Business Consultants

Would your board benefit from the opportunity to stand back and consider how it could improve its leadership, stewardship and strategic focus? Are you concerned that the funding, regulatory, participation, marketing, communications, stakeholder management and membership challenges that you face are being optimally addressed?

DFI and Ray Nulty & Company Limited, have come together to offer DFI member organisations an opportunity to avail of an exclusive new Board Effectiveness Review service, at a specially discounted DFI member rate.

What can a Board Effectiveness Review offer your organisation?

Ray Nulty & Company will carry out a board effectiveness review for your organisation and will provide a confidential written report that will address the following questions, among others:

Is the organisation’s corporate governance framework sufficient to meet your needs?

  • Is the balance of skills, knowledge and experience on the board and its committees adequate for your needs?
  • What are the required training and development needs of the board?
  • How can current board and committee working practices be improved?
  • How effective are the board’s strategic thinking and decision-making processes?
  • Does the board provide sufficient direction and work well with the CEO and management of the charity?
  • Is there an appropriate division of responsibility between the board and management?

The terms of reference and scope of the review are set and agreed by the Board at the outset. The objective of the process is to build consensus and buy in amongst the directors to the recommendations and how they should be implemented.

What does it cost?

The entire review is being offered to DFI member organisations at a specially discounted rate of €1,200 (+ VAT and outlays).
