Dates: Wednesday and Thursday, 22nd and 23rd July 2015,
Times: 10.30 am to 4 pm,
Venue: DFI, Fumbally Court, Fumbally Lane, Dublin 8.
DFI will deliver this 2 day course aimed to ensure that participating organisations have the relevant knowledge and skills to implement PQASSO QMS through self-assessment within their organisations. Click here to register online.
Training will be delivered by licenced PQASSO Mentor and Peer Reviewer (Auditor) Dermot O’Donnell.
This course covers all aspects of introducing and implementing PQASSO through self-assessment within an organisation. It is designed to support participants in developing a plan for how to implement quality within their organisation, and how to involve all the key stakeholders in the process. The course also considers the next steps for an organisation should they wish to apply for the PQASSO Quality Mark.
Is this course for you?
The course is aimed at Administrators; Board Members; Development Workers; Managers; Service Users and Volunteers of Community & Voluntary Organisations interested in being a part of the PQASSO Quality Implementation Team within your organisation.
Participants will have by the end of the two days training:
- developed their understanding of PQASSO and the self-assessment process.
- considered the necessary steps for the successful implementation of PQASSO within their organisations.
- discussed the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders and considered ways of getting them involved in the process.
- identified the key elements to be included in the planning process for implementing PQASSO within their organisation.
- a better understanding of the new PQASSO Quality Mark service

Registration Fee and Terms and conditions
Fees for members of DFI:
€95 for one participant, €150 for two participants from the same organisation, €180 for three participants from the same organisation.
Fees for non-member organisations:
€120 for one participant, €190 for two participants from the same organisation, €240 for three participants from the same organisation Please contact Eleanor (contact details above) for further information. Tea, coffee, scones, and lunch is provided within the fee. Bookings cancelled within 5 working days of the training taking place will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and cancellation charges will apply whether or not payment has been received. Please note that non-arrival at a course, with or without notice, counts as a cancellation. Bookings may be transferred to another course date. Please note that DFI reserves the right to cancel any course and in such cases, a full refund of course fees will be made.
