New: Access Group starting in County Mayo.
The Community Participation Network, CPN, in Mayo is a network of Disability, Education and Community Development organisations operating in Co. Mayo. DFI and The Network are seeking interested members of the community to become involved in a Mayo Access Group.
The aim of an Access Group is to improve the accessibility of public spaces that are shared by all members of the community. This is achieved by working in co-operation with other agencies to make our public spaces universally accessible.
Members of Access Groups generally include People with a Disability, Parents of Children with a Disability, People with Mobility Issues, Older People and interested parties in the Community.
