International Day of Persons With Disabilities
3 December 2023, 12:01am - 11:59pm
The annual observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on 3 December was proclaimed in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3. The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilise support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. The theme this year is “Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable world“.
It will be marked this year on Sunday 3 December. The official theme has not yet been released but we will share it here as soon as it is available. In the meantime keep an eye here on our website and social media pages: Twitter | Facebook | Instagram | Tik Tok
