DFI were delighted to win the Public Relations Institute of Ireland's Awards for Excellence in PR 2018, for the BEST PUBLIC INFORMATION CAMPAIGN, our call for a #MakeWayDay.
As our campaign was successfull, we will be heading up the first truly national #MakeWayDay this September 26th 2018. Local authorities in Limerick, Dublin, Cork and many more will be taking part this year. We are supported by member organisations like Rehab, Enable Ireland, NCBI and Fighting Blindness.
The Judgung Panel's citation read:
Here the judges saw a focused, uncomplicated, communications programme which, with a relatively small budget, made a direct and practical appeal to the public’s better nature. The winning programme is the Disability Federation of Ireland’s call for a #MAKEWAYDAY entered by TRA Brands - The Reputations Agency.
