DFI Members Respond

Below are just some of examples of how DFI's members have already responded to support disabled people from Ukraine.

WALK's CEO, Joe Mason, and Director of Day Services, Kevin Power, travelled to the Lublin on the Poland/ Ukraine border to support four families, with children with disabilities, to travel back to Ireland to escape war. Polio Survivors Ireland have urged anyone who encounters a polio survivor among people arriving in Ireland from Ukraine to refer them to directly so that they can help provide much needed services and support for them. For more informtion visit www.polio.ie.
